Elestiaalkwarts wordt ook wel vaak skeletkwarts/ Skeleton quartz of krokodillenkwarts genoemd. vooral de rookkwarts versie van deze kristallen krijgt vaker de naam skelet kwarts

Elestiaalkwarts is een nieuwetijdskristal.
Elestiaalkwarts is een vorm van bergkristal (of rookkwarts, soms amethist) met allemaal ruimtes en gangetjes in het kristal en heeft in de gangetjes soms ook enhydro bubbels, water in de gangetjes met een bewegende luchtbel.
Een zeer spirituele steen, zet je op je zielenpad en opent metafysische gaven.
Zeer hoge vibratie, heel goed voor spirituele ontwikkeling. Opent het kruinchakra en laat goddelijke energie door alle chakra's stromen.
Steen van verandering en transformatie.
Heft blokkades op en opent de weg voor noodzakelijke verandering. Negatief karma en oude wonden worden getransformeerd.

Sinds 2020 zijn er weer nieuwe benamingen bijgekomen. Voor de typische Elestial / Skeletquarz uit Zimbabwe is nu de naam Siriuskwarts en Shangaan Crystal aan de familie toegevoegd. Alleen die uit Zimbabwe worden Shangaan genoemd.
